
Tarbawi: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam (p-ISSN: 2527-4082, e-ISSN: 2622-920X) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that focuses on promoting research findings in the fields of Teacher Education and Islamic Religious Education. The journal is published by the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar, in collaboration with LP3M Unismuh Makassar, and is officially published twice a year.
The Editorial Team invites scholars and practitioners in the field of Islamic Religious Education to contribute and submit their latest research findings for publication in this journal.
TARBAWI: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is published in May and November each year. The journal has been accredited at SINTA 3 based on the accreditation decree number 0173/C3/DT.05.00/2025.

Manuscripts must be original, have never been published, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to Tarbawi: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam. Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript has been prepared using the Tarbawi Template. The manuscript must also have undergone a similarity check using Turnitin. References should be formatted using citation management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote, RefWorks, BibTeX, or other similar tools. Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines, scope, and focus of the journal, are written in a different format, or fail to meet administrative requirements will be rejected outright. Only manuscripts that meet the criteria of Tarbawi: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam will be considered for further processing.
