Focus and Scope

TARBAWI: Journal of Education in Muslim Society publishes scholarly works in the field of Islamic education and related studies in Muslim society. The journal welcomes conceptual papers, empirical research, literature reviews, case studies, classroom action research, research and development (R&D), and mixed-methods studies written in English or Indonesian.

General Limitations

Submissions must demonstrate a clear connection to Islamic education, learning innovation, educational media, teacher development, or educational issues in Muslim society. Manuscripts that are purely theological, purely doctrinal, or general religious discussions without clear educational relevance fall outside the journal’s scope.
