PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MIND MAPPING INTERAKTIF UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEPTUAL SISWA PADA MATERI ALJABAR

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran mind mapping berbasis interaktif pada materi aljabar yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa.
Metode: Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri atas tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 siswa kelas VII MTs Taufiqiyah. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, angket responss siswa, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru, serta tes pemahaman konseptual. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan perhitungan persentase dan deskriptif kualitatif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Hasil: Media memperoleh validitas sebesar 90,74% dari ahli materi dan 90,625% dari ahli media dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan ditunjukkan oleh observasi guru sebesar 85,6% (sangat praktis) serta responss siswa pada uji lapangan terbatas sebesar 81,985% dan uji lapangan luas sebesar 83,3% (keduanya praktis). Keefektifan ditunjukkan oleh ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 80% dengan kategori efektif. Media juga membantu guru mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa, seperti kesalahan penerapan sifat distributif dalam pemodelan aljabar.
Simpulan: Media mind mapping berbasis interaktif dinyatakan valid, praktis, dan efektif sehingga layak digunakan untuk mendukung peningkatan pemahaman konseptual siswa pada materi aljabar sekaligus membantu guru memvisualisasikan keterkaitan antarkonsep dan mengidentifikasi miskonsepsi siswa secara lebih mendalam.
