Physics module based on local wisdom, Jampea Culture, Local Wisdom Physics

Abstract

This research is a research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study aims to describe the steps in developing a physics module based on the local wisdom of Jampea Island fishermen and to determine the feasibility of the local wisdom-based physics module in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research instruments used were a validation sheet, response questionnaire, and learning outcome test. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the module met the criteria of being highly valid with an average score of 0.84. The level of practicality of the media was based on the responses of module users, namely the students, 54.7% of whom responded that it was very practical and 54.3% responded that it was practical, while 100% of teachers responded that it was very practical. The effectiveness level of the module was based on learning outcomes, with 75% of students achieving learning completeness above the minimum competency standard. Based on this data, it can be concluded that the learning module based on the local wisdom of Jampea Island fishermen that was developed is valid, practical, and effective.
