Focus and Scope

Focus
Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika focuses on technology-enhanced innovations in physics education to foster 21st-century skills among school learners, particularly within the Indonesian educational context. This focus includes the integration of advanced digital tools, such as augmented reality, virtual laboratories, interactive simulations, and e-modules, with active learning approaches including Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, and Inquiry-Based Learning. The journal aims to advance research that enhances higher-order thinking skills, collaboration, problem-solving, and digital literacy in physics learning.

Scope
While the primary emphasis is on technology-based school physics education, Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika also welcomes manuscripts in other relevant areas, including curriculum development and analysis of physics instructional materials, innovative teaching models in teaching physics, assessment and evaluation methods in physics learning, and the integration of local wisdom into physics education. Although the scope highlights the Indonesian context, the journal also accepts studies from other countries that align with its focus and provide comparative or transferable insights into physics education.

The journal encourages contributions in the form of empirical research and literature reviews that provide substantial contributions to the field of physics education. Submissions should be relevant to school-aged learners and address current issues, trends, and innovations. Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika particularly values studies that not only advance theoretical understanding but also provide practical implications for improving physics teaching and learning in schools.
