Abstract
One of the effective teaching materials for the learning process is e-books, which allow students easy and quick access to various information sources, thus enhancing literacy and fostering creative thinking skills. Based on observations at State Senior High School 3 Yogyakarta, there was no interactive e-book available, and learning was still conducted conventionally. This study aims to develop an interactive e-book based on problem-based learning to stimulate students' creative thinking skills in physics, particularly in optical devices. Using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study found that the validation scores for media and e-book design were high: 0.91 for the cover section, 0.92 for the content section, 0.90 for the material and construct validation, and 0.92 for the construction section. These results all fall under the valid category. Data analysis using the N-Gain test revealed an N-Gain value of 0.702 for students' creative thinking skills, which is considered high. The creative thinking ability test instrument in the implementation class also showed an N-Gain value of 0.707, which is in the high category. In conclusion, the physics e-book on optical devices, based on the Problem-Based Learning model and assisted by Heyzine and Liveworksheet, is feasible and effective for improving high school students' creative thinking skills.
