Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Pair Checks Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik di Kelas IX2 SMP Negeri 1 Balusu Kabupaten Barru

Abstract
Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: (1)mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar secara konvensional, (2) mengetahui hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks (3) mengetahui perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar secara konvensional dan yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks. Jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 44 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 2 kelas, yaitu 22 peserta didik dikelas eksperimen dan 22 peserta didik di kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak (simple random sampling). Metode penelitian yang digunakan true eksperimen dan desain penelitian posttest-Only Control Design. Untuk kelas eksperimen diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks dan dari hasil analisis posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 14,86. Untuk kelas kontrol diterapkan pembelajaran secara konvensional dan dari hasil analisis posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 13,95. Dari hasil uji-t dua pihak pada taraf signifikan 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar fisika peserta didik yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe pair checks dengan peserta didik yang diajar dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional

This research is experimental study aimed to: (1) determine the outcomes of learning physics by learners who taught conventionally, (2) determine the outcomes of learning physics by learners who the taught cooperative learning model pair checks (3) find a significant difference between the result of physics learning by leaners who taught in a conventional and are taught by cooperative learning model pair checks. A mount of students as much asa 44 students consist of 2 class namely 22 students in experiment class and 22 students in control class randomly selected (simple random sampling). The method of research is true experimental dan posttest-only control design research. For the experimental class applied cooperative learning model pair checks and result of analysis optained an average skor of 14.86. For the control class applied conventionally learning and result of posttest analysis optained an average skor of 13.95. From the results of t-test two parties at the significant level of 0.05 indicates that there are not significant differences between the results of studying physics students who were taught using cooperative learning model pair checks with learners who are taught by conventional learning.
