AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. General Requirements
-
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
-
Articles should be written in English (preferred) or Indonesian, in MS Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF format.
-
Length: 6–20 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
-
Paper size: A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm), margin: 3 cm on all sides.
-
Font: Times New Roman, size 11, spacing 1.15, two-column format.
-
Manuscripts must follow APA 7th edition referencing style, with at least 80% of sources from peer-reviewed journals (preferably Scopus/ISI-indexed, within the last 5–10 years).

Submission is done online via Profitability OJS Website.
2. Manuscript Structure
The manuscript should be organized in the following sections:
A. Title Page
-
Title: concise, informative, specific, maximum 16 words, Times New Roman 14 Bold, Centered.
-
Author(s): full name(s) without title, Times New Roman 9 Bold.
-
Affiliation(s): institutional name, faculty, university, city, country.
-
Email: corresponding author’s email in Times New Roman 9 Italic.
B. Abstract and Keywords
-
Abstract: written in English and Indonesian, one paragraph, 150–250 words.
-
Must include: Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
-
-
Font: Cambria 10, italic, single-spaced.
-
Keywords: 3–5 words/phrases, separated by commas, in italic.
C. Introduction
-
Explains background and research problem (global & local context).
-
Identifies gaps in literature and states clear research objectives.
-
Describes theoretical and practical significance of the study.
-
Length: 600–900 words (15–20% of manuscript).
D. Literature Review / Theoretical Framework
-
Discusses relevant theories and previous studies.
-
Provides conceptual foundation and, if quantitative, leads to hypothesis development.
-
Sources must be recent (last 5 years, Scopus/ISI preferred).
-
Length: 900–1200 words (20–25% of manuscript).
E. Methodology
-
Describes research design (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods).
-
Includes population, sample, sampling technique, data collection methods, and instruments.
-
Describes data analysis techniques (e.g., regression, SEM, thematic analysis).
-
Quantitative: mention validity, reliability (Cronbach’s Alpha), multicollinearity, normality.
-
Qualitative: explain trustworthiness (credibility, dependability, transferability, confirmability).
-
State ethical considerations if human/animal subjects are involved.
-
Length: ~900 words (15% of manuscript).
F. Results and Discussion
-
Results: present descriptive statistics, tables, and figures; report findings without interpretation.
-
Discussion: interpret findings, compare with previous studies, highlight theoretical and practical implications, and state limitations.
-
Length: 1,800 words (40% of manuscript) combined.
G. Conclusion and Recommendations
-
Summarizes the main findings.
-
States theoretical contributions and practical/policy implications.
-
Provides recommendations for future research.
-
Avoid repeating detailed results.
-
Length: 500–700 words (5–10% of manuscript).
H. References
-
Use APA 7th Edition referencing style.
-
At least 80% journal references, preferably Scopus/ISI indexed, from the last 5–10 years.
-
Use a reference manager (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).

3. Tables, Figures, Equations, and Citations
-
Tables: numbered sequentially, title above the table (Times New Roman 11 Bold).
-
Figures: clear (≥300 dpi), number and caption below the figure.
-
Equations: use Equation Editor, aligned left, numbered sequentially.
-
Citations: use numbers in brackets [1], [2,3], [4–6].
4. Review Process

Initial editorial screening: ≤7 days.
-
Peer-review: double-blind, duration ≤9 days/review cycle.
-
Authors may be asked for major/minor revisions (7 days for major, 3 days for minor).
-
Only accepted manuscripts after revision will be published.
5. Publication Ethics
-
Profitability strictly follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.
-
Plagiarism is checked with Turnitin. Submissions with similarity index >20% will be rejected.
6. Article Processing Charge (APC)
-
Submission and publication are free of charge.
-
All publication costs are borne by the publisher.
7. Data Availability Policy
-
Authors must be willing to provide datasets, instruments, or supplementary files if requested.
8. Submission Procedure

Submit manuscripts via OJS Submission System.
-
Attach both DOCX and PDF files.
-
Include: manuscript without author identity, author CV, and research instruments (if applicable).
