About the Journal

Kolaborasi : Jurnal Administrasi Publik (KJAP), with a registered number ISSN 2442-949X (Print) and ISSN 2620-3499 (Online), is published by the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in collaboration with the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) and the Association of Muhammadiyah ‘Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions for Public Administration Study Programs (APSANAP PTMA) .

KJAP has been accredited SINTA 4 by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. Currently, the Indonesian Association for Public Administration (IAPA) supervises this journal.

KJAP focuses on collaborative issues in public governance, including collaborative governance, public-private partnership, policy network, joined-up government, intersectoral coordination, network governance, and governance network. Relevant articles related to governance theories and practices (e.g., good governance and smart governance) are also considered. Original research articles or review articles are expected in this journal.

In addition, this journal emphasizes multidisciplinary perspectives across social, economic, health, and ecological domains, as well as methodological diversity, encompassing quantitative, qualitative, mixed, and applied research approaches. KJAP is dedicated to advancing public governance by inviting contributions from diverse perspectives and methodological traditions.

Manuscripts for the December edition must be submitted no later than 15 October 2026. Articles should be written in English.
