KIMAP: Kajian Ilmiah Administrasi Publik upholds rigorous standards of scholarly publishing by promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency throughout the editorial process. Every manuscript submitted to the journal is carefully evaluated through a structured peer-review system to ensure its originality, methodological soundness, and contribution to the advancement of public administration studies. The journal adopts a double-blind peer review model, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous in order to maintain fairness and impartiality in the evaluation process.
The journal exclusively considers manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not under review by other publication outlets. Authors bear full responsibility for the authenticity and accuracy of their work, including proper citation practices and adherence to ethical research standards. To safeguard academic integrity, all submissions are subject to similarity checks using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts identified as containing plagiarism, data manipulation, or other forms of academic misconduct will be rejected without further consideration.
KIMAP places strong emphasis on ethical research practices, particularly in studies involving communities, public institutions, and vulnerable populations. Authors are expected to uphold principles of respect, inclusivity, and responsibility by ensuring informed consent where necessary, acknowledging all sources appropriately, and conducting research that is sensitive to social and cultural contexts. The journal encourages contributions that foster public value, participatory approaches, and socially responsible governance.
The editorial process is conducted with full independence and adherence to principles of academic freedom. Decisions regarding manuscript acceptance are based solely on scholarly merit, relevance to the journal’s scope, and contribution to knowledge. The journal maintains a non-discriminatory policy and does not consider factors such as authors’ institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, or personal beliefs. Any potential conflicts of interest must be transparently disclosed and will be handled in accordance with established ethical guidelines.
As part of its commitment to knowledge dissemination, KIMAP operates under an open-access model, ensuring that all published content is freely available to readers without financial or legal barriers. The journal does not impose submission or publication fees, thereby supporting equitable participation from scholars across diverse backgrounds. Through this approach, KIMAP aims to enhance the accessibility, visibility, and impact of research in public administration at both national and global levels.
