Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Fisika Melalui Pembelajaran Starter Experiment Approach Di Kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Kab. Gowa

Abstract
Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana menerapkan Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) untuk meningkatakan hasil belajar fisika pada peserta didik kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa melalui pembelajaran Starter Experiment Approach (SEA). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang terdiri dari dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa sebanyak 42 orang. Hasil penelitian yang dicapai menunjukkan: (1) pada siklus 1 nilai rata-rata sebesar 68,81 dengan standar deviasi 16,26. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 68,81%; (2) pada siklus 2 nilai rata-rata sebesar 72,86 dengan standar deviasi 12,17. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 76,19%. Dari hasil analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Kabupaten Gowa sebesar 7,38% setelah diterapkan pembelajaran starter experiment approach (SEA) dan secara klasikal telah memenuhi KKM. Sehingga pembelajaran SEA dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam proses pembelajaran fisika.

The main problem in this research is how to implement Starter Experiment Approach (SEA) to increase the learning outcomes of learners grade physics at VIII2 SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa. This study aims to improve learning outcomes VIII2 grade physics students SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa through learning Starter Experiment Approach (SEA). This research is a classroom action research (classroom action research) consisting of two cycles where each cycle conducted three meetings. Research procedure includes planning, action, observation and reflection. Subjects in this study were VIII2 grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa as many as 42 people. Research results achieved indicate: (1) in the first cycle of the average value of 68.81 with a standard deviation of 16.26. The percentage of completeness the study of students amounted to 68.81%; (2) in the second cycle of the average value of 72.86 with a standard deviation of 12.17. The percentage of completeness the study of students amounted to 76.19%. From the results of the analysis showed that there was an increase learning outcomes VIII2 grade physics students SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa Gowa of 7.38% after the starter experiment applied learning approach (SEA) and the classical has met KKM. SEA so that learning can be an alternative in the process of learning physics.Keywords: Sheet observation, Starter Experiment Approach (SEA), learning outcomes
