Revenue Source

Revenue Sources

  • Institutional Support The journal receives institutional backing from the Prodi Hukum Keluarga (Ahwal Syakhshiyah), Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. This support provides funding for website maintenance, infrastructure, and technical management, helping to strengthen the sustainability of the journal and enhance accessibility for researchers, academics, and the wider community.

  • Author Fees We implement an author fee for manuscripts that are accepted for publication. This fee is used to cover the operational and production costs of the publication process, including peer-review management, copyediting, and online distribution. The fee is only applied once an article has officially passed the selection and rigorous review process.

Editorial Decision-Making Policy

We emphasize that revenue sources will not influence editorial decisions regarding the selection, rejection, or acceptance of articles. Every submission to Journal of Family Law and Islamic Court (JFLIC) is evaluated solely based on its academic quality, originality, and scientific relevance, regardless of funding status, author background, or other supporting resources.

Thus, we are committed to upholding high ethical standards in the editorial process and ensuring that the research published in this journal prioritizes academic integrity and independence. All our revenue sources aim to support the journal’s mission of providing a high-quality academic platform accessible to all.
