Peer Review Process

AgriMu Journal applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of every published article.

  1. Submission Screening

    • All submitted manuscripts are first screened by the Editor-in-Chief for suitability with the journal’s focus, scope, and author guidelines.

    • Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria may be rejected at this stage.

  2. Plagiarism Check

    • Each manuscript is checked for similarity using plagiarism detection software.

    • Manuscripts with high similarity scores will be returned to authors for revision or directly rejected.

  3. Reviewer Assignment

    • Manuscripts passing the screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

    • The review process is double-blind, meaning both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

  4. Review Process

    • Reviewers evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodological soundness, contribution to knowledge, clarity, and references.

    • Reviewers are generally given three (3) weeks to complete the review.

    • If there are three reviewers, the decision will be based on the agreement of at least two reviewers.

  5. Editorial Decision

    • Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief makes one of the following decisions:

      • Accept without revision

      • Minor revision

      • Major revision

      • Reject

    • Authors will be notified of the decision along with reviewers’ comments.

  6. Revision Stage

    • Authors are required to revise their manuscript according to reviewers’ feedback and resubmit through OJS.

    • Revised manuscripts may be re-reviewed if necessary.

  7. Final Decision and Acceptance

    • The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revised manuscript.

    • Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and proofreading.

  8. Publication

    • Finalized manuscripts are published online and assigned a DOI for indexing and citation purposes.
