Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika

Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika (Journal of Physics Education) (p-ISSN: 2302-8939, e-ISSN: 2527-4015) is an open-access journal that aims to provide a forum for researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, and university students from all over the world. This journal publishes scientific papers on the results of studies and literature reviews in the field of physics education, covering the topics: (1) physics learning and teaching, (2) history, philosophy, and nature of science; (3) discourse and argumentation in physics education; (4) scientific literacy and socio-scientific issues; (5) evaluation and assessment of student learning and development; (6) pre-service and in-service physics teacher education; and (7) physics textbook analysis. In addition, the issues related to physics and religion are also welcome. The Journal was first published in 2013 and regularly published three times a year: January, April, and August.

This journal is published by Physics Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in collaboration with Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI). Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika has been Nationally Accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia, Number: 36/E/KPT/2019 (Grade 3), valid until 2024.

This journal welcomes submissions all year round. Submissions are reviewed upon receipt. The template manuscript can be downloaded here. Manuscript published is written in standard English starting from Volume 9 No. 1, 2021. The manuscript before Volume 9 No. 1 can be published in two choices of languages, Bahasa Indonesia and English.
