KEBIJAKAN LITERASI DIGITAL BAGI PENGEMBANGAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK

Abstract


Berada pada era revolusi industri 4.0 mengharuskan manusia berbasis informasi, tidak terkecuali peserta didik. Keharusan menghasilkan peserta didik yang berkarakter selalu menjadi prioritas, namun harus menyesuaikan dengan tantangan yang ada. Penggunakan internet cenderung memberikan penyimpangan pada sejumlah besar peserta didik untuk mengakses konten pornografi, tindakan bully, dan kata-kata makian pada laman media sosial karena minimnya pengawasan orang tua terhadap aktivitas digital yang dilakukan oleh anak, sehingga memicu timbulnya kejahatan cyber. Salah satu solusi yang dapat dikembangkan dalam dunia pendidikan adalah melalui kebijakan literasi digital. Tujuannya adalah bagaimana memberikan peta jalan agar kebijakan literasi digital diantara stakeholder di lingkungan sekolah dapat bersinergi dalam mengaplikasikan literasi digital untuk mengembangkan karakter peserta didik. Kajian ini menggunakan studi pustaka untuk mengurai kebijakan literasi digital dalam pengembangan karakter peserta didik. Hasil yang dapat dirumuskan bahwa pihak sekolah harus berkolaborasi antara dua elemen penting yaitu pihak keluarga dan lingkungan masyaraka untuk memberikan penguatan terhadap literasi digital dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik.
