Submissions that do not meet the journal’s formatting requirements will be returned to authors before entering the review process.
2. Initial Screening
The Editorial Team conducts an initial evaluation to ensure compliance with the journal’s scope, formatting rules, language quality, and ethical standards.
Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with similarity above the journal’s acceptable threshold will be rejected.
3. Peer Review Process
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers using a double-blind peer review process.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodology, clarity, ethical considerations, and contribution to the field of accounting.
Review results may lead to four possible editorial decisions: acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection.
4. Revision Process
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to reviewers’ and editors’ comments within the specified time.
Revised manuscripts must be submitted through OJS for further evaluation.
The Editorial Team ensures that revisions have addressed the reviewers’ recommendations before proceeding.
5. Final Decision
The Editor-in-Chief, together with the Editorial Board, makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection based on reviewers’ recommendations and the quality of the revision.
Accepted manuscripts will proceed to the copyediting stage.
6. Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting to ensure language clarity, formatting consistency, and compliance with the journal’s style.
Authors are asked to review the edited version (proofs) to confirm accuracy before publication.
7. Production and Publication
The final version of the manuscript is typeset and formatted for online publication.
Articles are published in March and September issues.
All articles are assigned a DOI and published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0) to ensure open access and broad dissemination.
