Author Guidelines

Authors are expected to follow the journal's bibliographic and formatting standards for manuscript submission. Submissions that do not conform to these guidelines may be returned for revision prior to peer review.

Manuscript Formatting Standards:

  • The manuscript must be written in English using Times New Roman font.

  • Title: Font size 16, bold, maximum 12 words.

  • Author(s): Font size 8, bold; names must not be abbreviated. Include full affiliation and email address.

  • Abstract: Font Cambria, size 10, italic, single-spaced, maximum 250 words.

  • Keywords: Maximum of 5 keywords, separated by commas.

  • Main text: Cambria font, size 11, 1.15 spacing.

  • Section headings: Times New Roman, size 11, bold.

  • Use APA Style 7th Edition for references and citations.

  • Use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote) for consistency.

Supplementary Files:
Authors are encouraged to submit supplementary materials that support and enrich the manuscript, such as:

  • Datasets (in .csv, .xls, or .sav format)

  • Research instruments (e.g., questionnaires, interview guides)

  • Tables, figures, or additional charts

  • Ethical approval letters (if applicable)

All manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal submission system. Authors are responsible for the originality of the work and must avoid plagiarism.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

    Invoice: Jurnal Ilmu Akuntansi provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All published materials are available freely without subscription or payment and can be accessed, downloaded, and reused by any user provided that appropriate attribution is given.

  3. Permission for Reuse
    For uses not covered by the CC BY 4.0 license, such as commercial reprints, translations, or any form of adaptation without clear attribution, users must obtain written permission from the editorial team.     Authors are responsible for the originality of their submissions. All articles are screened for plagiarism using appropriate tools before acceptance. Manuscripts found to contain unoriginal content or infringing materials will be rejected or retracted as per journal policy.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Invoice: Jurnal Ilmu Akuntansi and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

The journal guarantees that personal information provided by authors, reviewers, and readers will be kept confidential and will not be used for purposes other than those related to the editorial and publication process.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal are subject to a double-blind peer review process. During the review, the identity of authors and reviewers is kept strictly confidential.
