Ar-Ribh: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity in every stage of the publishing process. This statement is adapted from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and applies to all parties involved: authors, editors, peer reviewers, and the publisher.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original, have not been previously published, and are not under review elsewhere.
All sources must be properly cited; plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
Authorship should be restricted to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All co-authors must be appropriately credited.
Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that could affect the results or interpretation of the manuscript.
If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in a published work, they must immediately notify the editor and cooperate with the journal to retract or correct the article.
Editors are responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication, based on quality, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
Manuscripts must be evaluated solely on academic merit, without discrimination on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, or political ideology.
Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts and may not disclose information to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, and the publisher.
Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling a manuscript if such conflicts exist.
Peer reviewers support editors in making editorial decisions and assist authors in improving manuscripts through constructive feedback.
Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents and must not be shared or discussed without authorization from the editor.
Reviews should be conducted objectively, with clear arguments supporting the evaluation, and without personal criticism of the authors.
Reviewers must decline to review manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors or their institutions.
