Alexander Carlsson, 25, has admitted possessing child porn and to performing sex acts while watching My Little Pony cartoons, documents say


A 25-year-old child porn suspect has admitted to police that he is a 'clopper' - someone who gets sexually aroused by children's cartoon My Little Pony, according to an affidavit.

Alexander Carlsson, from Longwood, Florida, was arrested on Wednesday after FBI agents tipped off police that he was sending and receiving child porn images online.

Now in custody, Carlsson told officers that he is aroused by images of young girls, mostly aged between three and 16, and that he also performs sex acts while watching My Little Pony cartoons, federal documents say.

Carlsson also admitted to being aroused by Hentai porn showing the abuse of young girls and children, which is based on the Japanese animation style anime.

According to federal documents seen by the Orlando Sentinel, Carlsson admitted having a 'sexual interest in anime showing the sexual abuse of children and that he was a 'clopper' and had a sexual interest in figurines and get website value pictures depicting My Little Pony toys.'

Carlsson said his obsession with child pornography began about a year ago, and his activity was picked up by FBI agents in Orlando.

Investigators discovered that Carlsson was sharing images of girls as young as three with others over web browser TOR, Wesh.com reports.

In theory TOR is a completely anonymous search engine that allows users to access the 'dark web' without being traced.

The 'dark web' includes sites which share child abuse images, offer to sell drugs, illegal firearms, and even some sites which offer hitmen for hire.






Carlsson allegedly confessed to sharing images of girls as young as three being sexually abused via an anonymous web browser, while also being aroused by My Little Pony and Japanese anime cartoons


However, the FBI managed to identify Carlsson, and passed information to an Orlando judge, who signed a search warrant for his home on Tuesday, with a raid carried out on Wednesday.

When officers broke into Carlsson's property, they discovered a stash of child porn images stored on three devices he owned, the affidavit says.

Carlsson has been refused bail and is currently being held at the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is a cartoon based on the Hasbro series of toys which first aired in 2010 and is due to start a sixth season later this year.

The friends work together to help the residents of Ponytown, while working out problems with their own relationships along the way.

By the end of the second season, the show had 4million monthly viewers, and is the most watched show of all time on the Hub Network.
