Ar-Ribh: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam focuses on publishing original research in the field of Islamic economics that aims to develop and enrich the concepts, theories, and practices within the Islamic economic system. The journal is dedicated to scholarly works that explore various aspects of Islamic economics using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches.

The scope of the journal includes but is not limited to the following topics:

  • Islamic banking and finance
  • Sharia-compliant financial products (e.g., murabahah, mudharabah, musyarakah, ijarah)
  • Islamic capital markets and investment instruments
  • Islamic microfinance and financing for SMEs

Peer Review Process

Review Policy

All submissions to Ar-Ribh: Jurnal Ekonomi Islam undergo a double-blind peer review process involving at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, methodological soundness, significance of findings, clarity of presentation, and relevance to Islamic economics. The review process typically takes 4 weeks. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and publication history in related fields. The Editorial Board ensures transparency, fairness, and confidentiality throughout the process.

Review Guidelines:

Reviewers are asked to:

  • Evaluate the relevance, clarity, and originality of the manuscript.

  • Assess the methodology and quality of data analysis.

  • Provide constructive feedback to help authors improve their work.

  • Make a clear recommendation: Accept, Minor Revisions, Major Revisions, or Reject.

  • Use respectful and professional language in their comments.
