UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM SOLVING PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA1 SMA NEGERI 1 PARANGLOE

Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Parangloe yang berjumlah 35 peserta didik terdiri atas 9 laki-laki dan 26 perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus terdiri atas empat komponen utama, yaitu: 1). Perencanaan, 2). Pelaksanaan tindakan, 3). Observasi, dan 4). Refleksi. Untuk mengumpulkan data tentang hasil belajar peserta didik digunakan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda dan untuk data peningkatan keaktifan peserta didik dalam kelas digunakan lembar observasi. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I skor rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 67,53 dengan persentase jumlah peserta didik dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 70,59% sedangkan pada siklus II skor rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 75,88 dengan persentase jumlah peserta didik dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 85,71%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar fisika pada pokok bahasan gaya gravitasi Newton dan elastisitas bahan peserta didik kelas XI IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Parangloe dapat ditingkatkan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran problem solving.

This research is a classroom action research (classroom action research) that aims to improve the learning outcomes of students in class XI physics IPA1 SMA Negeri 1 Parangloe totaling 35 students consisting of 9 men and 26 women. This study was conducted in 2 cycle consists of four major components, namely: 1). Planning, 2). Implementation of the action, 3). Observations, and 4). Reflection. To collect data on learning outcomes of students learning to use the test results in the form of multiple choice and to increase the data active learners in the classroom to use the observation sheet. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results showed in the first cycle an average score of student learning outcomes at 67.53 with the percentage of students in the high category was 70.59%, while in the second cycle average score of student learning outcomes at 75.88 with the percentage of students in the high category of 85.71%. It can be concluded that the results of learning physics on the subject of Newton's gravitational force and elasticity of the material in class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Parangloe IPA1 can be enhanced through learning approach to problem solving.
