Pemanfaatan Minyak Atsiri dari Bawang Putih (Allium Sativum) sebagai Antibiotik Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio Linn)

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil dari minyak minyak atsiri bawang putih yang digunakan sebagai antibiotik untuk pengendalian bakteri Aeromonas hydropila pada ikan mas (C. carpio L), sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi bahan informasi Dalam upaya meningkatkan produksi ikan mas pada usaha pembesaran. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Juli sampai Agustus 2013 di Balai Benih Ikan (BBI) Bontomanai kec. Somba Opu Kab. Gowa Sulawesi Selatan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu B (15 ppm), C (20 ppm), dan D (25 ppm),  dan 3 ulangan serta Kontrol  A (Phospat Buffer Saline pH 7,4).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertambahan bobot serta mortalitas ikan uji dapat disimpulkan bahawa pemberian dosis 20 ppm minyak atsiri dari bawang putih yang disuntikkan pada ikan mas cukup efektif dalam pengendalian infeksi A. hidropila.

This study aims to get the essential oil of garlic oil is used as an antibiotic for control of Aeromonas hydropila in carp (C. carpio L), which is expected to be material information in an effort to increase the production of carp efforts on enlargement. The experiment was conducted in July and August 2013 at Fish Seed (BBI) Bontomanai excl. Somba Opu district. Gowa, South Sulawesi. The experimental design used was completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments, B (15 ppm), C (20 ppm), and D (25 ppm), and 3 replications and Control A (Phosphate Buffer Saline pH 7.4). The results showed that weight gain and mortality test fish can be concluded THAT dose of 20 ppm of essential oil of garlic is injected in a goldfish quite effective in controlling infection A. hidropila.
