Focus and Scope

Konfiks: Journal of research results in Language, Literature, and Teaching. Konfiks Journal is a peer-reviewed journal managed by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Unismuh Makassar in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Programs (IKAPROBSI)

The scope of research results that can be published in the Konfiks Journal are:

(1) Indonesian language; linguistics (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, discourse, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics); language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing);

(2) Indonesian literature (literary theory, literary history, literary criticism, comparative literature, ekranasi, sociology of literature);

(3) Indonesian Language and Literature Education (learning planning, learning strategies, learning evaluation, curriculum, teaching materials, and learning media).

Peer Review Process

Every manuscript submitted to the editor will be selected through an initial review process by the Editorial Board. Then, the article will be given to the peer reviewers and will continue to single blind peer-review process. After that, the article will be returned to the author for revision. It takes a very long time before publishing a quality article.

Peer Reviewers will assess the substantial and technical aspects of the article. Peer Reviewers working for Journal Konfiks are experts in the field of Indonesian language and literature education, they are very experienced in managing prestigious and up-to-date journals and have a good and extensive track record of publications in Indonesia.

Publication Frequency

KONFIKS: Journal of research results in Languages, Literature and Teaching. Journal Konfiks is a peer-reviewed journal managed of  majors Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Fakutas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar in collaboration with Perkumpulan Program Studi Bahasa Dan Sastra Indonesia (IKAPROBSI) with registered numbers e-ISSN 2746-1866 and p-ISSN 2355 -2638. Published twice a year, namely in June and December.

Jurnal Konfiks provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative

Publication Ethics

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed Journal Konfiks is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behaviour for all parties involved in the act of publishing: the author, the journal editor, the peer reviewer, the publisher and the society.

Journal Konfiks is a peer-reviewed journal managed of  a peer-reviewed journal managed by the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Makassar in collaboration with the Association of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Programs (IKAPROBSI) takes its duties of guardianship over all stages of publishing seriously and we recognize our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions.
