Cadbury's popular Cherry Ripe chocolate bar has been released as a delicious ice cream on a stick. 

The new ice cream comes in a box of four and can be purchased from Woolworths or other supermarket retailers for $8.50. 

The dairy product features delicious cherry ice cream with small, fine pieces of coconut throughout and a dark chocolate coating.

The rich encasing itself is made from the Old Good chocolate - which is also available in a Cherry Ripe flavour block and is priced at $5.

On social media customers shared their excitement and joy, with many saying they can't wait to purchase the ice cream.

'Think we need to go buy these tonight,' one woman said and tagged a friend online.

'Shut up and take my money,' another man joked.

The new ice cream also seemed unexpected with many shoppers stating they didn't realise the product had recently been released.
