Same Old Love Review

by Foster De Satg (2020-06-09)

Is Same Old Love a better movie than rihanna selena gomez same old love Selena Gomez? For me the answer is "yes." Why? Because I found this movie to be more realistic, I appreciated some of the more obscure moments and some of the character traits that I did not think of in the first place.

So when I thought about it, it seemed right to put Rihanna Selena Gomez and Selena's relationship under the microscope. We can review what I feel are some of the issues with Same Old Love.

The most common problem I've seen with movies about relationships is that they just make the whole thing seem like a product for the director and actress. There's nothing wrong with wanting to make a movie. However, when a movie's focus is so clearly on the actors and actresses, things that are going on behind the scenes are often overlooked. I'd like to call this the "director's eyewash." What are some of the things in Same Old Love that you'd notice if you had seen the movie through the director's eyes?

First of all, the romantic development between Roney is unrealistic. Selena Gomez is nineteen years old. How is she supposed to figure out how to make Roney fall in love with her? Then again, the "boyfriend" character wants to be with Roney for who knows how long (and it is Roney) so, well, that might not be too unrealistic after all.

A man's heart is a strange beast. Not only does it seem to age differently from women's hearts, but many men change their minds about falling in love with someone before their age begins to drop. But how does a woman know when she has fallen in love?

Without great drama, what is the point of a movie? And, really, who wants to watch some romantic comedies or something that is completely predictable?

The film takes place at the end of the Reagan administration and it depicts the man who controls the United States and the man who rule over it, just two presidents who must keep their hold on power. That means that despite the progress of gay rights, the Russians have moved forward on the issue of homosexuality in their society. It is also during this time that many state-sponsored assassinations occur.

Things start to look up for Selena Gomez and her boyfriend, Montana George, until she realizes that President Reagan is no longer president, and he is actually the one in charge. Instead of looking towards the future, Selena's focus is off and she is feeling guilty because Montana has a new girlfriend, a white girl named Angie.

It soon becomes clear that Montana is not feeling any romantic desire for Selena because he is so busy trying to protect her. Worse, when he tells her that he would never consider her as anything other than his property, she starts to see the dark side of her sexuality and uses it to manipulate Montana.

This is the point when things get really bad for Selena Gomez and Montana George. In the end, Selena gets on the plane to travel home and realizes that Montana is not going to take her home and after that, things only get worse.

What's even worse is that Selena gets a new boyfriend and is forced to bring the hurtful memories of Montana's girlfriend back into her life. Since then, Selena has become even more upset with Montana and she starts to wonder what will happen when Montana realizes that Selena is not as desirable as Montana thinks she is.

Maybe the greatest mistake that Selena Gomez and her boyfriend made in Same Old Love was with the ending. Instead of having the happy ending of "love conquers all," Selena is shown beating herself up and wondering if she can possibly control her sexuality. If you were at all curious about Same Old Love, I highly recommend that you watch it because it is very much worth your time.
