I'm celebrating four months of being free of the LuLanightmare that many consultants faced. With the information I have now and the current quality of the items being shipped to consultants, I don't recommend any of the sizing mentioned below. In fact, I don't recommend the clothes at all. I gave away my remaining inventory and have purged all the frumpy clothes from my closet.

When I originally wrote this blog, the company was at its prime. Patrick was at the reigns of the design and sizing of clothing. The Stidhams are involved in a nasty lawsuit for not paying their original supplier. As a result, they had to outsource the clothing to new suppliers, which means you don't know what you are going to get. The label on the clothing has absolutely nothing to do with what size it actually is. It's a 50/50 chance that the clothing will fit at all. So do yourself a favor and save your money.

As soon as I became a consultant, people started asking me what was up with LuLaRoe sizing? At first, I was confused, but I soon figured out why so many people have questions about how the boutique clothing fits. First, I'll admit there is a bit of learning curve associated with sizes, but once you get it, you'll be fine. Below, I'll go in to what LuLaRoe clothing is TTS and which you need to size down in. As a bonus most LuLaRoe pieces are extremely versatile, so you can wear it in a different way than you may have imagined.

What LuLaRoe Clothing is True to Size? Updated 2/26/2019
New Update - no LuLaRoe clothing being distributed at this time is true to size. It's a major guessing game. The company is having terrible sizing issues, especially with their once coveted leggings. Not only that, but the quality has gone downhill too. It's definitely not the company I feel in love with years ago. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this company doesn't exist at all in the next coming months.

As a fan before I was a consultant, I've tried on dozens of different styles from LuLaRoe. In fact, as I sit here writing this blog, I'm wearing TC leggings and my husband's Mark. That's right ladies, LuLaRoe also makes clothing for men. I can visit any purchase lorazepam online usa pop-up because I know exactly what items are true to size and which aren't because I wear the clothing and sell it to women smaller, larger, and almost exactly the same size as me. In addition to knowing what size the item is when compared to your normal size, it's important to know what material is used to make the clothing. Some material used by LuLaRoe has a ton of stretch, others don't stretch as well, and some are a bit clingy. If you have any doubts about whether the item will fit - make sure to ask the consultant hosting the sale what material the item is made of before commenting "sold." Items that you can count on to be true to size (TTS) are:

Classic - TTS with a fitted look. If you're going to tuck it in - size down, if you want extra rump coverage, size up

Randy - technically this shirt is TTS, but it's is a straight, fitted cut. Size up for a looser fit.

OS Leggings (sizes 0 to 12)

TC Leggings (sizes 12 to 22)

Kid's Leggings

Tween Leggings

Monroe Kimono

Julia (fitted - size up one if you want a looser look)

Amelia (size up if you have a big chest or want a looser look)

The Irma and Perfect T are two of my favorite LuLaRoe shirts. I usually wear a XL in women's clothing. When it comes to the Perfect T and the Irma, I wear a Medium. Although, if there is a large Perfect T or Irma that I have to have, I will buy it. There are tons of pins, videos, and instructions on the Internet to help you take a larger size and fit it to give your outfit more shape.


Irma (choose a size two sizes smaller than your regular clothes)

Perfect T (go two sizes down for a fitted look and one size down for a flowy look)

Lindsay (go down at least one size)

Carly (go down at least two)



LuLaRoe Clothing that Runs Big Depending on Material:
If the Maxi, Azure or Cassie you want is made of stretchy material, you may be able to go down a size, if it's not stretchy choose your regular skirt size

Both the Maxi and the Azure have yoga band tops like the famous buttery, soft leggings. What this means is they are easy to adjust up and down for the perfect fit. Some people even wear the Maxi like a dress and we have to admit it's amazing.

The Cassie is designed to be fitted through the thighs, so if you are thinking of sizing down but have thicker thighs, you'll probably be more comfortable in a larger Cassie. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, one of my favorite outfit inspirations is wearing a Randy, leggings, and a Cassie. So cute, and almost effortless to wear.

What size Maurine do I wear?
The Maurine sold out at the warehouse within minutes of launch and is becoming almost impossible to find from consultants because we don't know if it's going to be added to the mainline like Maria was, or if it was a one-time run.

Because I'm on the East Coast, I'm never one of the first consultants to get the hot items, but I do take in all the information I can regarding sizes and materials. The best advice I've found is to choose your largest Carly size or go up one from your normal Carly size. For instance, I can wear a small and medium Carly. I tried on the Medium Maurines and it was okay. I would have been fine with it. But I went up one from my Maurine size and found the size that was right for me.

I've been advising my customers to go up one from their Carly size and everyone is in love with this idea.

Update - Have questions? I bet you do. I'll answer honestly, but here's the drift. Save your money. Don't buy any LuLaRoe. I'm all about empowering women, but this company is basically stealing money from consultants and customers at this point. That's how bad the quality is. If you don't believe me, do an online search. There are thousands of women just like me that were brainwashed into how fabulous this company and its clothing was. For awhile that was true, but unfortunately, now, it's a trainwreck and you'd be better off spending your money anywhere else.

Even better, the consultants, like me, are trained to treat our customers like gold. If you haven't already find a consultant you like, and let them know what your concerns with sizing are, they will be glad to help you pick the right size that will make you feel fabulous.
