Computer Vision Syndrome: Sebuah Tinjauan Pustaka

Abstract


Pandemi COVID-19 mengubah seluruh aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Pembatasan pergerakan yang dilakukan menuntut berbagai hal untuk dapat dilakukan dari rumah dengan bantuan perangkat digital. Computer vision syndrome (CVS) atau digital eye strain adalah sekelompok masalah terkait mata dan penglihatan yang diakibatkan oleh penggunaan perangkat digital. Pandemi yang mengakibatkan peningkatan penggunaan perangkat digital berujung pada peningkatan kejadian CVS. Gejala CVS tidak hanya terkait okular ataupun visual saja, tetapi juga meliputi gejala ekstra okular. Diagnosis CVS adalah diagnosis eksklusi. Anamnesis dan pemeriksaan mata yang lengkap dibutuhkan untuk membantu mendiagnosis CVS. Penanganan kasus CVS tidak hanya terkait medikamentosa saja mengingat faktor risikonya dan keluhan yang beragam. Aspek pencegahan dan edukasi dalam penanganan CVS sangat besar. Tinjauan Pustaka ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran mengenai CVS.
