Online Submission Guidelines

Author Guidelines – RESO

General Information

Manuscripts submitted to RESO: Journal of Sport Coaching, Physical Education, and Sport Science must be original, not previously published in any scientific journal, and not under review elsewhere. Authors must confirm originality through a Statement of Originality and Copyright Release Form (Form A). Similarity checks will be conducted using Turnitin to prevent plagiarism.

Manuscripts may be either:

  • Research Articles: Empirical studies in sports coaching, physical education, or sport science.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive literature reviews addressing trends, innovations, or applied sport science.

Publication Frequency: Three times a year – January, April, and August.
The editorial board reserves the right to accept, request revisions, or reject manuscripts.

Article Preparation Guidelines

  1. Language: Manuscripts must be in English.
  2. Format: Use Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, size 11, 1.5 line spacing. Paper size: A4, with margins: Top 3 cm, Bottom 2.5 cm, Left 3.5 cm, Right 2.5 cm. Equations must be typed using Microsoft Equation. Maximum manuscript length: 8,000 words.

Title

  • Written in English, informative (8–15 words), without formulas or non-standard abbreviations.
  • Must reflect variables or focus of the study.

Author Details

  • Include name (without academic titles), affiliation, and email.
  • Corresponding author must be indicated.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: concise summary of problem, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.
  • Keywords: 3–5 main terms related to the article.

Article Structure

  1. Introduction: Background, literature review, research objectives.
  2. Methods: Detailed methodology with references. Include procedures for data collection and analysis.
  3. Results and Discussion: Present results (60–70% of content) with tables, figures, or graphics. Discuss implications, compare with prior studies, and propose modifications to existing theories.
  4. Conclusion and Suggestions: Summarize findings, provide practical recommendations, and specify target audience or applicability.
  5. References: At least 20 references (≥80% from journals or proceedings). Follow APA 7th edition, preferably managed with Mendeley or similar reference manager.

Online Submission Steps

  1. Register as Author: RESO Submission Portal.
  2. Start a New Submission: Select article type, complete submission checklist, and upload Cover Letter.
  3. Upload Manuscript: Browse and upload manuscript file (.doc/.docx). Do not upload supplementary files here.
  4. Enter Metadata: Enter authors’ information, corresponding author, manuscript title, abstract, and keywords.
  5. Upload Supplementary Files: Include signed copyright transfer form.
  6. Confirm Submission: Review all uploaded materials and click Finish Submission. Authors receive confirmation and can track progress online.
