License Term

  1. Copyright Ownership:
Authors retain full copyright of their work and grant first publication rights to RESO.
  2. Open License:
All published articles are simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike International License (CC-BY-SA 4.0). This allows others to freely share, distribute, and adapt the work as long as proper credit is given to the original authors and the initial publication in RESO is acknowledged.
  3. Secondary Distribution:
Authors may enter into separate agreements for non-exclusive distribution of their article (e.g., institutional repositories, book chapters), provided RESO is cited as the first publisher.
  4. Copyright Without Restriction:
RESO allows authors to retain copyright without limitations and grants unrestricted distribution rights for the journal’s version.
  5. Author Responsibility:
Submitted manuscripts must not contain proprietary material protected by patents or other intellectual property without appropriate permissions. The lead/corresponding author confirms that all co-authors have approved the submission. Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary copyright permissions for third-party material used in the manuscript before submission.
