Focus

RESO: Journal of Sport Coaching, Physical Education, and Sport Science focuses on technology-enhanced innovations in sports coaching, physical education, and sport science to develop 21st-century skills, performance excellence, and holistic athlete development. This includes the integration of digital tools, such as wearable technology, motion capture, performance analytics, virtual coaching platforms, and interactive learning modules, with active learning approaches such as problem-based learning, project-based learning, and inquiry-based practical exercises. The journal aims to advance research that enhances critical thinking, collaboration, leadership, decision-making, and physical literacy in sport and physical education contexts.

Scope

While the primary emphasis is on sports coaching, physical education, and applied sport science, RESO also welcomes manuscripts in related areas, including curriculum design and analysis of sport education programs, innovative teaching models for physical education, assessment and evaluation methods in sports training, athlete monitoring, injury prevention, exercise physiology, and integration of local wisdom and cultural practices in sport and physical education. Although the scope highlights the Indonesian context, the journal also accepts studies from other countries that provide comparative or transferable insights into coaching, physical education, and sport science.

The journal encourages contributions in the form of empirical research, experimental studies, case studies, and literature reviews that provide substantial contributions to the field. Submissions should be relevant to sport practitioners, educators, coaches, and school-aged or competitive athletes and address current issues, trends, and innovations in sports training and physical education. RESO particularly values studies that advance theoretical understanding while providing practical implications for improving coaching strategies, athlete performance, and sport pedagogy.
