Pemodelan Jarak Lokasi Penangkapan Ikan Karang dari Garis Pantai untuk Mereduksi Bycatch Pada Bubu Serambi
Abstract
Memancing dengan sangat potensial daya tangkap sebagai metode yang sederhana dan efektif untuk nelayan untuk mengeksploitasi ikan karang telah praktis diterapkan di beberapa lokasi di perairan Pulau Selayar.Meskipun kegiatan yang telah diakui sebagai berbahaya bagi kerusakan ekosistem terumbu, kurangnya pengetahuan nelayan tentang bertanggung jawab ikan-ing kontribusi kehancuran ekosistem terumbu karang.penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan Model dari distance from beach-line (DfBL) untuk mengurangi daya tangkap di ruang perangkap.Penelitian ini dilakukan di perairan Parak Kabupaten Kepulauan Selayar yang memancing peralatan dioperasikan pada berbagai DfBL.Hasilnya menunjukkan tren positif pengurangan daya tangkap dengan meningkatnya DfBL ikan karang fishing ground, sementara ada tren linier positif produktivitas ikan target dengan meningkatnya DfBL ikan karang Model Wilayah Penangkapan Ikan dari jumlah daya tangkap di daerah pnangkapan ikan pada lokasi di DfBL itu Y = 301 , 47E-0,008x (R² = 0,78), maka model berat daya tangkap pada daerah pnangkapan ikan dasar lokasi di DfBL adalah Y = 3378,2e-0,006x (R² = 0,63).Sementara model produktivitas ikan target pada daerah pnangkapan ikan dasar lokasi di DfBL adalah Y = 0,0092x - 1,8602 (R² = 0,6347). Memancing lokasi tanah dasar pada DfBL di kisaran 289-342 m menghasilkan daya tangkap lebih tinggi 4,77 - 6,55 kali dari jarak 497- 650 m, sedangkan jarak 289-342 menghasilkan target yang ikan lebih tinggi 2,22 - 4,79 kali dibandingkan di kisaran 497- 650 m.

Fishing with highly potential bycath as the simple and effective method for fisher to exploit reef fish has been practically applied in several locations in Selayar Island waters. Although those activities have been recognized as harmful to reef ecosystem destruction, the lack of fisher knowledge on responsible fish-ing contributes the destruction of the reef ecosystem. This research is to determine Model of location for reef fish fishing ground base on distance from beach-line (DfBL) to reduce bycatch in chambered wing trap fish-ing. This experiment was conducted in Parak waters of Selayar Islands Regency which was fishing gear op-erated on variety of DfBL. The result showed positive trend of bycatch reduction with increasing DfBL of reef fish fishing ground, meanwhile there was linier positive trend of target fish productivity with increasing DfBL of reef fish fishing ground Model of bycatch number on fishing ground location base on DfBL was Y = 301,47e-0,008x (R² = 0,78), then model of bycatch weight on fishing ground location base on DfBL was Y = 3378,2e-0,006x (R² = 0,63). Meanwhile model of target fish productivity on fishing ground location base on DfBL was Y = 0,0092x - 1,8602 (R² = 0,6347). Fishing ground location base on DfBL at range 289-342 m produce bycatch higher 4,77 - 6,55 times than at range 497- 650 m, meanwhile at range 289-342 produce target fish higher 2,22 - 4,79 times than at range 497- 650 m.
