Abstract


Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi integrasi warisan budaya ke dalam praktik arsitektur modern, menekankan perannya dalam melestarikan identitas lokal, mempromosikan keberlanjutan, dan mendorong keterlibatan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menyelidiki bagaimana elemen desain tradisional dan material lokal dapat dipadukan secara harmonis dengan teknik arsitektur kontemporer untuk menciptakan struktur yang mencerminkan narasi budaya sekaligus memenuhi kebutuhan modern. Strategi utama meliputi penggunaan kembali bangunan warisan secara adaptif dan penerapan teknologi canggih, seperti Pemodelan Informasi Bangunan (BIM) dan pemindaian 3D, untuk memastikan pelestarian dan adaptasi yang tepat. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan elemen budaya tidak hanya memperkaya lanskap perkotaan modern tetapi juga mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan dengan memanfaatkan bahan lokal dan prinsip-prinsip desain hemat energi. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya menjaga kesinambungan budaya dalam menghadapi urbanisasi dan globalisasi yang cepat. Sebagai kesimpulan, penelitian ini menunjukkan potensi arsitektur modern untuk meningkatkan relevansi fungsional dan budaya dari lingkungan binaan dengan mengintegrasikan warisan budaya. Penelitian di masa depan harus berfokus pada perluasan penerapan prinsip-prinsip ini, terutama dalam konteks tantangan lingkungan dan kebutuhan perkotaan yang terus berkembang, untuk lebih memperkuat hubungan antara masa lalu dan masa kini dalam desain arsitektur.
