Peningkatan Aktivitas Dan Hasil Belajar Biologi Siswa Kelas VIII Melalui Penerapan Model Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw Dengan Menggunakan Media

Abstract


One of the learning models based on constructivism that is currently being developed is the cooperative learning model which directs students to work together in small groups and help each other in learning. This study is a Classroom Action Research which aims to determine the increase in activity and learning outcomes of class VIII students on the concept of the circulatory system through the application of a jigsaw type cooperative model using image media at SMP Negeri 14 Ambon. This research includes four stages of implementation, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that after the second cycle there was an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle, where the average grade of the students in the first cycle was 62.97 while in the second cycle it increased to 77.46.
