Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penggunaan media permainan monopoli dengan model discovery learning untuk penguatan character education pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 18 Kota Malang dan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media permainan monopoli dengan model discovery learning untuk penguatan character education pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 18 Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yaitu dilakukan dengan pengambilan data berupa observasi, angket dan dokumentasi yang keudian di analisis menggunakan uji hipotesis setelah dilakukan uji instrumen data berupa uji validasi dan uji reliabel. Penggunaan media permainan monopoli dengan model discovery learning untuk penguatan character education dapat dikatakab berhasil pada penelitian ini. Sintaks model discovery learning dapat dinyatakan berhasil dan mendapatkan respon positif oleh responden. Peserta didik juga mampu memenuhi aspek character education pada penelitian ini pun dan mendapat respon positif dari responden. Efektivitas media permaianan monopoli dengan model discovery learning untuk penguatan character education pada peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 18 Kota Malang dapat dikatakan efektif setelah perhitungan uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya terdapat pengaruh antara variabel media permainan monopoli dengan model discovery learning dengan variabel media permainan monopoli untuk Penguatan character education.
