 F. Reference

Writing literature using the Harvard Standard system. Everything listed in the bibliography must be referenced in the manuscript. Up-to-date references are highly prioritized.

Harvard Style or APA (American Psychological Association). This bibliography format is very popular in scientific works in Indonesia. Here's an example of writing:

If the source of reference or quote comes from a book

formula:

"Author's Last Name, Initials. (year of publication). Book title (Edition if there are more than one edition). Place of publication: Publisher, page."

Things to note are:

If the literature is taken from a textbook, the order of writing is: Author's name, year of publication, book title is italicized and the beginning of each word is capitalized except for prepositions and conjunctions, then what edition, city, publisher name and page are written (p for one page and pp for more than one page)

example:

Guyton A.C. 1971. Textbook of Medical Physiology. 5th ed. Philadelphia: WB Saunders, pp:25-9

Book writing with editors is accompanied by (Ed.) for one editor and (Eds.) for more than one editor.

example:

Dansser J., Colombani J. (eds). 1972. Histocompatibility Testing. Copenhagen Munksgrood, pp: 12-8.

If the source of reference or citation comes from previous research, such as theses, theses and dissertations, it is almost the same as writing a bibliography from books, except for the information behind it.

example:

Cairs R.B. 1965. Infrared Spectroscopic Studies of Solid Oxygen. Barkley, California, University of California. Dissertation.

Junaedi Y. 1976. Study of Brain Development in Man and the Rat. England University of Surgery. PhD Thesis.

If the source of reference or citation is from a journal

formula;

"Author's Last Name, Initials. (year of publication). Article title. Journal title, Volume number – if any (issue number), beginning and end page numbers of the article"

What needs to be considered is the writing of article titles and journal titles. Capital letters in writing the title of the article are used according to the standard for writing sentences. Capital letters in the writing of the journal title are written according to the standard for writing the title. Only journal titles are written in italics.

example:

Tseng, Y.C., Kuo, S.P., Lee, H.W., & Huang, C.F. (2004). Location tracking in a wireless sensor network by mobile agents and its data fusion strategies. The Computer Journal, 47(4), 448–460

If the source of the reference or quote comes from a website article

formula:

"Author's Last Name, Initials. (year of site produced or year of publication of document). Title of document. Retrieved from site s
