Studi “Daylight Comfort” untuk Bangunan Pendidikan yang Berkelanjutan
Abstract
Bangunan berkelanjutan adalah suatu prinsip arsitektur yang berupaya meminimalkan dampak negatif lingkungan bangunan dengan efisiensi dan moderasi dalam penggunaan bahan, energi, serta ekosistem secara luas. Salah satu upaya efisiensi energi bangunan adalah optimalisasi cahaya alami pada bangunan dengan tetap mengedepankan unsur kenyamanan bangunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi tingkat kenyamanan pencahayaan alami eksisting pada ruang kelas sekolah dasar dan menengah di Makassar. Penelitian ini menganalisis dua indikator kenyamanan pencahayaan alami yaitu Daylight Quantity dan Daylight Uniformity. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan mengumpulkan data parameter pencahayaan alami berupa nilai iluminasi dalam dan luar ruangan, serta data geometri ruang dan bukaan, kemudian hasilnya dianalisis dengan standar penilaian/ metrik yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya 32% dari keseluruhan sampel yang dapat memenuhi standar intensitas cahaya dan keseragaman cahaya, selebihnya yaitu 68% dari keseluruhan sampel hanya memenuhi salah satu indikator kenyamanan pencahayaan alami.
