Journal of Science Education and Learning Innovation

Journal of Science Education and Learning Innovation (JSELI) (p ISSN: 0000-0000, e ISSN: 0000-0000) is a peer reviewed, open access scientific journal published by the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The journal focuses on research and innovation in science education and publishes original research articles, development studies, systematic literature reviews, meta analyses, and bibliometric reviews that provide theoretical and practical contributions to improving the quality of science teaching and learning.

The scope of JSELI includes science, physics, chemistry, and biology education; science teaching models, strategies, and innovations; the development of learning materials, media, modules, and educational technologies; science curriculum and instructional design; assessment, scientific literacy, critical thinking skills, and problem solving; science teacher education and professional development; STEM and STEAM education; as well as ethnoscience and local wisdom in science education. JSELI is published twice a year, in April and October, and only accepts manuscripts written in English. Pure science research that has no explicit connection to education, teaching, or learning is outside the scope of the journal.
