Focus

This journal focuses on research and innovation in science education, publishing research articles, research and development (R&D) studies, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and bibliometric reviews that provide theoretical and practical contributions to improving the quality of science learning.

 

Scope

The scope of JSELI includes science, physics, chemistry, and biology education; science teaching models, strategies, and innovations; the development of learning materials, media, modules, and educational technologies; science curriculum and instructional design; assessment, scientific literacy, critical thinking skills, and problem solving; science teacher education and professional development; STEM and STEAM education; as well as ethnoscience and local wisdom in science education. JSELI is published twice a year, in February and August, and only accepts manuscripts written in English. Pure science research that has no explicit connection to education, teaching, or learning is outside the scope of the journal.
